[-stʃ-], Stanisław, polnischer Maler, * Krakau um 1485, ✝ Mogiła (heute zu Krakau) 1541; Mönch des Zisterzienserklosters Mogiła. Reisen nach Ungarn (1514) und Wien (1523) vermittelten ihm Eindrücke von Werken der italienischen Renaissance, L. Cranachs, A. Altdorfers und A. Dürers. Samostrzelnik schuf Gemälde und Fresken; bedeutend ist v. a. sein Beitrag zur polnischen Buchmalerei (erhalten sind mehrere illuminierte Gebetbücher). Sein Stil verbindet die gotische Tradition mit Elementen der Renaissance, besonders hinsichtlich Ornamentik und Komposition.
